Internships make your High School of Business experience even better than it already is because you gain personal experience in the business world and get a grasp on knowledge not many people have access to. The project management team I was a part of, Try Before You Buy, with Brock Ellis and Jake Halterman, gained knowledge and experience in the world of Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, from a Mountain Range Alumni, Anthony Pappalardo. With his background in advertising and a career in SEO management, he was an excellent source of information and could teach us everything we needed for our project and roles as interns. Finding time to meet with him took some work, as everyone on the team has jobs, after-school extracurriculars, or school work. As a student taking

With seven classes each year, my school schedule is about as busy as it gets. On top of that, I also have a job and am a part of the school's Marching Band and Winter Percussion, which take up a significant portion of my free time. So, with all of our hectic schedules, it took time and dedication to find time to learn all about Search Engine Optimization. We learned how to use SEO which has the primary goal of improving the quality and quantity of traffic on our website/webpage, which included using keywords and phrases, as well as making more features on the websites to increase the number of points of access and connecting it to other websites and sources to expand our reach across the internet. With the information and knowledge we received, we can now make necessary changes to our High School of Business website, using SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, to increase not only the number of visits to our website but also the number of people that join the HSB program here at Mountain Range High School. We hope you join the program and experience the great things the Mountain Range High School of Business program offers.
